Introduction

The Department of Livestock Production Management focuses on developing practical competencies in scientific livestock management, sustainable production systems, and farm-based veterinary education. The department is committed to delivering undergraduate training in accordance with the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) – MSVE Regulations.

Academic Focus

The department imparts practical and experiential learning in:

  • Livestock Housing and Farm Management
  • Dairy Production Systems
  • Sheep, Goat, Pig, and Poultry Production
  • Clean Milk Production Practices
  • Environmental Management in Livestock Farms
  • Livestock Entrepreneurship and Farm Economics
