The Department of Veterinary Anatomy and Histology is one of the core basic science departments of JIS College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (JISCOVAS). The department is committed to imparting quality undergraduate veterinary education as prescribed under the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) – MSVE Regulations.

The Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry is dedicated to undergraduate teaching in physiological and biochemical sciences of domestic animals and birds in accordance with VCI–MSVE Regulations.

The Department of Livestock Production Management is responsible for undergraduate teaching and practical training in scientific livestock production systems and farm management.

The Department of Veterinary Microbiology provides undergraduate education and laboratory training in veterinary microbiology and immunology under VCI–MSVE Regulations.

The Department of Veterinary Pathology is responsible for undergraduate teaching and diagnostic support in veterinary pathology as prescribed under VCI–MSVE Regulations.

The Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding imparts undergraduate teaching in animal breeding, genetics, biostatistics, and computer applications in animal sciences.

The Department of Animal Nutrition provides undergraduate teaching and practical training in scientific feeding and nutritional management of livestock and poultry.

The Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology imparts undergraduate education in veterinary pharmacology, therapeutics, and toxicology.

The Department of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology promotes undergraduate education in zoonoses, food safety, epidemiology, and public health.

The Department of Veterinary Parasitology imparts undergraduate teaching and diagnostic training in parasitic diseases of animals and birds.

The Department of Livestock Product Technology imparts undergraduate teaching and practical training related to meat, milk, and livestock product processing.

The Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education focuses on transfer of veterinary technologies, livestock extension services, and rural development activities.

The Department of Veterinary Medicine provides undergraduate clinical teaching, diagnostic support, and animal healthcare services.

The Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology provides undergraduate teaching and practical clinical training in surgery, anaesthesiology, radiology, and orthopaedics.

The Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics imparts undergraduate education and clinical training in animal reproduction and obstetrical management.

The Veterinary Clinical Complex is an integral component of the undergraduate veterinary curriculum and provides practical clinical exposure and diagnostic training.

The Livestock Farm Complex serves as the instructional and practical training facility for undergraduate veterinary education in livestock production and farm management.
